19. Conditions regarding recovery of advance:–– The recovery of,–––

(i) advances of money given to an employee after the employment begins under clause (b) of section 23;

or

(ii) advances of wages to an employee not already earned under clause (c) of section 23, as the case may be, shall be made by the employer from the wages of the concerned employee in instalments determined by the employer, so as any or all instalments in a wage period, shall not exceed fifty per cent of the wages of the employee subject to the ceiling specified in rule 13 in that wage period and the particulars of such recovery shall be recorded in the register maintained in Form-IV.
